We have a wide variety of anaesthetics to choose from, and your pet's specific anaesthetic protocol is determined by the doctor depending on his or her specific needs. Anaesthetic monitoring equipment is used to closely watch your pet's blood pressure, oxygen saturation levels, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature during surgery. Customizing your pet's anaesthetic protocol, using several monitoring devices, placing all surgical cases on intravenous fluids, and performing routine pre-anaesthetic blood work are a few of the things we always do to ensure that your pet's surgery is as safe and smooth as possible. For advanced surgical cases such as orthopedic fracture repairs, we can arrange to have a board certified orthopedic specialist perform surgery on your pet in our hospital. |
